This is especially helpful for people who want to visit the country for a short period as it means that you can simply go without worrying about missing your flight or getting stuck in a long queue at the border.

Who Can Be Eligible for the Visa Waiver Program For Brits

  •  Anyone who is a British citizen who is currently living in the USA.
  • Anyone who is a British citizen is eligible to live in the U.S.A in the future.
  • British family members of those who are eligible to live in the U.S.A in the future.

The Process to Qualify

  •  You need to be a citizen of the United Kingdom who has been living in the USA as a permanent resident.
  • You need to be able to show that you don’t have any criminal convictions or negatives in your credit history You need to have a valid passport.
  • You need to be able to show that you have enough money in your bank account to cover the trip to the U.S.A

Things that You’ll Need to Apply

  • A passport was valid for at least three months after your intended travel date.
  • A completed Form I-131 petition for a visa (Form I-131p) if you are visiting from a non-visa-exempt country.
  • Your bank account information to cover the cost of the trip.
  • Health insurance for yourself and your family members if you are a British citizen.
  • A financial sponsor who is willing to cover your trip to the U.S.A

How to Get a Visa Waiver in the USA

  •  If you’re eligible for the program and want to apply for the visa waiver, you can start the process online by visiting the U.S.A Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) website
  • https://www.cbp.gov/
  • You will need to do a few things before you can submit your forms to the CBP. First, you’ll need to log into the CBP website with your existing online account. Then, you’ll need to confirm your address and select your profession.
  • After you’ve done this, you’ll need to sign into your account and select the application tab on your dashboard
  • From here, you can select the “Immigrant Visas” option on your dashboard
  • You’ll then be able to select the “Other” option under “Visa Waiver Program”
  • From this page, you can select the “Other” option once again and then select the “Visa Waiver Program For Britishers” option
  • Once you do this, you’ll be taken to another page where you can select the “Online Services” option
  • From here, you can select the “Serve Electronic” option
  • You’ll then be able to select the “Electronic I-131 Petition” option and submit your documents
