The October 2026 flagship edition refreshes selected earlier articles and adds new work. Original publication dates and URLs are retained where an existing article has been rewritten. The source-check date describes the new editorial review.

What changed

Selected articles have been substantially rewritten to correct outdated requirements, distinguish routes and replace unsupported claims of professional legal expertise or official affiliation. Material changes are described in the editorial note at the end of the article.

Earlier articles are dated archive material

Articles outside the curated edition remain reachable at their original addresses and through the earlier archive. Their original publication dates remain visible. A prominent notice makes clear that they have not been included in the current reviewed edition and may contain outdated information.

When guidance is known to be unreliable

For six identified articles, unreliable instructional bodies have been replaced with a transparent correction and links to relevant official sources. The URLs are retained for continuity. Their previous instructions should not be used to plan a journey or application.

Raising an issue

Use the publication’s contact page to identify an article, the statement at issue and the source that supports a correction. Please avoid sending passports, bank statements, application credentials or other sensitive case documents. We do not promise a response time or individual case review.
